SERVICES: Research Surveys

Difficult and challenging research assignments are Boardwalk's specialty.

Our seasoned staff of researchers is regularly called upon to:

  • Serve as key sub-contractor for large well-known market research and consulting firms.
  • "Rescue" programs on which other firms fail to deliver.
  • Provide industry/language expertise or capacity that is not available internally.

We recommend you contact us if you need:

  • Highly sensitive information, such as ownership costs or security procedures. Boardwalk has run programs focused on uncovering total ownership costs (TCO) for both CRM and supply chain management. Often, we must gather total costs as well as the detailed components. Convincing individuals to provide this information is a challenge; however, our staff has developed this as an expertise.
  • Interviews with senior-level respondents such as CIOs and CFOs at length, covering topics on a peer-to-peer basis. If you have to get the C-level opinions, then Boardwalk may be the best place to go if your survey is lengthy.
  • In-depth discussions about complex topics. With a highly educated staff and unique processes, we're able to quickly absorb esoteric subject matter for a survey. We can do far more than run through a closed-ended survey with multiple-choice questions; Boardwalk prides itself on getting survey respondents to open up and have their opinions uncovered.
  • Highly insightful and useful findings. As we complete your surveys, we'll be doing more than just answering questions. Our Analysts will be sensitive to any trends or surprising responses, and sharing this information with you to optimize program results.
  • Need to meet extraordinarily tight deadlines. Boardwalk is known for getting your project completed on time, regardless of the hurdles. This stems in part from our skill in "rescuing" a survey project that fell behind schedule when given to another firm. We understand your need to get results quickly.
  • Research conducted in multiple languages, in any major country in the world. Many of our clients need to understand markets worldwide. Our international expertise is in Western Europe, South America, and English-speaking Asia Pacific; however, we have also conducted surveys in languages ranging from Japanese to Swahili.

Five Case Studies provide specific examples of our research.
